Philosophy and Experience
Two signs in my office define my work:
One says, "Love what you do."
The other reads, "Never get so busy making a living that you forget to make a life."
Supporting people through career transition is what I love, and it has been my focus since completing graduate school. My career path has included a variety of experiences that enhance my ability to help you. Here are a few:
- Worked as a career counselor guiding university students, and taught Career Development and Leadership Development courses;
- Created the research department for a boutique executive search firm, and later worked as an executive recruiter specializing in sales and marketing placements;
- Established a career services program for a national professional association;
- Provided guidance to displaced workers in a leading outplacement firm;
- Managed a team of international career coaches supporting families through relocation, domestically and abroad;
- Wrote a monthly column on career issues for a national association and co-authored a book on career planning and job search.
- I've earned certifications in coaching: Life, Health and Wellness, Financial, and Executive and Coaching.
